✈️ Meet Simon Ang Li, a Senior Controls Engineer at Wisk who plays a key role in developing the systems that ensure our #Gen6 aircraft fly safely and autonomously. Simon leads the subscale aircraft program – a flying testbed that lets his team validate flight software in real-world conditions and gain insights that aren’t possible in simulation alone. Before joining Wisk in 2019, Simon studied Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford, where his advisor was one of the founding members of the company that would eventually become Wisk. Simon also has a private pilot's license, bringing both technical expertise and a lifelong passion for aviation to his work. #EmployeeSpotlight | #ControlsEngineer | #AAM

Texas, we loved bringing Gen 6 to you! ✈️ Over 100 government and infrastructure leaders joined us this week to celebrate Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) in the State of Texas. We talked about how AAM and Air Taxis can unlock incredible opportunities for Texas – think new jobs, faster transportation, and a stronger economy. A special thanks to Senator Tan Parker and Representative David L. Cook for their support and leadership proposing #AAM legislation that will help Texas continue leading in aviation for decades to come. We also had the opportunity to welcome talented The University of Texas at Austin aerospace engineering students for a visit with the aircraft and our Houston VR Flight Experience. Their enthusiasm for autonomous flight was contagious! 🤘 Huge thank you to our partners at Boeing, SkyGrid, City of Sugar Land, TX, Houston Airport System, Port San Antonio, and the North Central Texas Council of Governments for making this week such a success.
