Guests at our Morgantown Residential Recovery Center recently volunteered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization dedicated to ensuring that no child sleeps on the floor in our town! 🛏️💙 Through hands-on service, our guests helped build and deliver beds to children in need—providing not just a safe, comfortable place to sleep but also a sense of security and care. Last week, Our Williamson patients had the opportunity to attend the Boone County Quick Response Team Black Balloon overdose awareness event—a powerful gathering dedicated to remembrance, awareness, and change. On March 6, families and loved ones across the U.S. come together for Black Balloon Day to honor those lost to overdose. It’s a time to reflect, support, and advocate for harm prevention. 🖤 By sharing our stories and uniting as a community, we help break the stigma surrounding substance use disorder and drive real change.
