Flat fees, retainers, and hourly rates are becoming more common, especially as advisors look to build trust and long-term relationships, not just earn on trades. The days of “free” financial plans (that aren’t) are numbered. Transparency and flexibility are winning.

The broader takeaway? Growth should be intentional. Whether you're a solo advisor or leading a team, assessing whether your structure truly enhances your ability to serve clients while maintaining profitability is essential.
