This week, Grace traveled to Washington D.C. to advocate for the future of Wisconsin agriculture. From meeting with our congressional delegation to discussing key issues impacting agribusiness, it was a powerful reminder of the importance of having our voices heard on Capitol Hill. We're proud to represent the backbone of Wisconsin’s economy and grateful for the opportunity to share our story and priorities with policymakers.

WABA had a busy few days in Winnebago County! On Tuesday, we arranged a tour at Fox River Valley Ethanol LLC for State Senator Rachael Cabral-Guevara. WABA is committed to providing legislators with educational opportunities, and this visit was a great chance for the Senator to gain insight into the work of our members. On Wednesday, WABA attended the Wisconsin Public Service Farm Show in Oshkosh, where we connected with current members and engaged with potential new members of our association.

We were honored to have Rep. Tyler August tour The Delong Company, a vital member of the Wisconsin Agri-Business Association! It was a great opportunity to showcase the essential role our agri-businesses play in supporting Wisconsin’s economy. Thank you, Rep. August, for your continued support of the agricultural industry!

Our March Lunch and Learn member opportunity is right around the corner! This month, we'll showcase state agribusiness associations and how they serve their members. Today we wrapped up our 19th annual Custom Applicator Program at Fox Valley Technical College. It was a successful 3 day training with 31 students. The 2025 Applicator Manual, with 115+ specimen labels of the most popular custom applied products, is available from our partner Asmark Institute. This manual has become the industry standard in helping comply with EPA's requirement to have current label information available for applicators while handling or applying pesticides. Our Custom Applicator Program is well underway here at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton!

WABA held their March Board meeting at the Wisconsin Capitol yesterday. Following the meeting, the Board had the opportunity to hear from a few different legislators, Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) Secretary Randy Romanski, and Governor Tony Evers' Cheif of Staff, Maggie Gau. The day was a success, providing valuable insights from government officials on efforts to support and promote Wisconsin’s $116 billion agriculture industry.
