Ever been curious about how GBH and other public media stations get their funding? Well, a lot of it depends on the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Public media is made by and for the people. It belongs to everyone, and federal funding is crucial to that mission. Please share this video to help spread awareness and visit gbh.org/belongstoyou to learn more!

Iconic. Dawn Hayes, the face and voice of the Massachusetts lottery for nearly two decades, spun the GBH prize wheel at a recent event that went behind the scenes of the "Scratch & Win" podcast from GBH News. Following an introduction by GBH News Executive Editor Lee H. and GBH Managing Producer of Podcasts Devin Maverick Robins, host and producer Ian Coss led a discussion with Hayes, David O'Reilly, former Finance Director for the Massachusetts State lottery, Paul Regan, former Creative Director for Hill Holiday, and producer Isabel Hibbard. Thank you to our producers, panelists, and to our audience who joined in a rousing sing-along of "You Made Me Love You." Did you know that GBH has events for everyone? The 2025 ISU World Figure Skating Championships take place this week at TD Garden in Boston. GBH Music radio audio engineer Téa Mottolese is a U.S. Figure Skating triple gold medalist and has been skating for nearly 20 years. She previewed this year's competition, with a focus on the musical highlights. "Figure skating audiences and competitors have long heard the masterworks of classical music, but, like concertgoers, the performances are never the same. Similar to a conductor, each skater, and by extension their choreographer, has a different interpretation of their music selection. However, the intention behind each choice is always the same: What story can I tell to the audience?"
