Congratulations to WHA member Montrose Regional Health for being the first medical facility in the state of Colorado to acquire, implement, and successfully complete their first Galaxy System robotic bronchoscopy procedure. Way to go!

WHA's Charitable Giving Committee just celebrated its fifth anniversary! Since 2020, WHA and its employees have donated over $85k, to 55 entities in our community. Employee donations directly contributed over $57k of the total amount.

According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), workplace violence is defined as any act or threat of physical violence, harassment, intimidation, or other threatening behavior that occurs at the work site. This includes verbal abuse, physical assaults, and any other disruptive behavior, including domestic violence and stalking when it impacts the workplace. April is recognized as Workplace Violence Prevention Awareness Month, aiming to increase awareness to recognize, prevent, and respond to workplace violence.

Occupational Therapy Month (OT Month) recognizes the contributions of occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants who help people across the lifespan participate in the activities they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. #OTMonth
