  • LEAVE YOUR ESSAY ALONE!!! The most self-destructive thing you can do after being deferred or rejected early by an Ivy League college is to massively rewrite your college application for regular decision. Unless there are obvious flaws in your application or you rushed it, you probably did a good job in your early application and you just need to apply to more colleges during regular decision and you will get into at least one of the selective universities. Also, don’t bother with any letters of continued interest until January, you need to focus on the applications that are still pending. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #earlyaction #earlydecision #collegeessays

  • WHO NOT HOW for Letters of Rec. if you want to have the best odds of admission to an Ivy League college, you should focus more on who is writing your letters of recommendation as opposed to how they write them. I believe colleges decide who gets in based on a committee vote, and you want impressive and powerful people to be supporting you to offer social proof that will make it easier for your regional admissions officer to advocate on your behalf in front of the committee. When impressive people say that you are going to be an important person one day it is social proof, and gives them cover. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #letterofrec #lor #letterofrecommendation

  • You have BETTER ODDS for Ivies in REGULAR DECISION. At Ivy League colleges the higher acceptance rate for early decision or early action is a scam. That percentage is inflated by student athletes, legacies, hardship cases, and a variety of other students who have guaranteed spots in an incoming class. Most applicants will actually have the same or better odds during regular decision. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #earlyaction #earlydecision

  • IVIES ARE LYING TO YOU!!! if you got deferred or rejected from an Ivy League college, there’s a good chance that you believed some of the lies that elite universities tell about their admissions process. They lie about the importance of tests, they lie about how they consider applications, and they lie about the role of 💰 in college admissions. I created this channel and wrote a book to teach you the truth so that you can create a strategy that will actually help you get into one of these universities.#ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #earlyaction #earlydecision #lies

  • FROM DEFERRED TO ACCEPTED: the vast majority of people who apply early to an Ivy League college are going to get deferred, so if you do keep your grades up, make sure you’re updating the college on any new achievements over the next couple of months and unless there’s something major that went wrong with your original essays, don’t panic and throw them out. Lots of people get deferred with strong application applications, and those essays will probably help you a lot when you’re writing your regular decision applications. Comment for part two if you want me to post a guide on how to complete all eight Ivy League school applications in less than a week. ##ivyleague##ivyroadmap##college##admissions##deferred##earlyaction##earlydecision

  • YOUR CLASSMATES ARE YOUR COMPETITION. Ivy League colleges have no way of figuring out if you made the most of your opportunities in high school UNLESS THEY COMPARE YOU TO YOUR CLASSMATES, WHO ALSO APPLIED TO THE SAME COLLEGE. And so they do. Don’t listen to any admissions officers saying there’s “no cap” on admits from a given HS, its a true statement, but misleading because they’re only taking the top few kids anyway. Focus instead on building, original projects and activities outside of school that will allow you to stand out from your classmates without directly competing with them. That’s how you’re going to stand out to Ivy League colleges. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #cap #competition #classmates

  • APPLYING EARLY IS A TRAP🪤 . When you apply early to an Ivy League college, you are asking the admissions officer to make a bet that your application is going to be stronger than hundreds of applications. They haven’t even read yet. That bet only pays off if you’re part of a small minority of students who have a thing called a hook. A hook is a specific feature of your application. That is so impressive that it’ll allow you to stand out no matter when you apply, recruited, athletes, legacies, children of donors, ROTC, nationally recognize geniuses and hardship cases fall into this category. If that’s not you, you’ll have a better chance in regular decision after you take a couple months to perfect your application. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #earlyaction #earlydecision

  • VOLUNTER HOURS ARE A WASTE!!! Ivy League colleges care about the impact of your projects and extracurriculars not how many hours you spent doing them. If you spend 1000 hours volunteering on meaningless tasks in a hospital, you will not impress anyone, but if you spend 10 hours doing a project that is genuinely helpful. You will have a much better chance of getting admitted. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #volunteer

  • SEND YOUR SAT SCORE!!! Ivy League colleges, use exams like the SAT as a minimum standard for academic ability, so sending a score like a 1400, even if it’s a bit lower than the school’s average is an advantage because it verifies that you are at least in the top 1% of students in the country, and you won’t fail out of the classes if they choose to admit you. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #sat #satscore #testoptional
