I had the privilege of attending "Amenities in Focus: A Conversation with The Experts" hosted by the Professional Women in Construction, New York (PWC NY) yesterday. The event brought together industry leaders to discuss the evolution of workspace amenities and their impact on tenant engagement. It was enlightening to hear diverse perspectives from designers, brokers, operators, and developers on creating spaces that resonate with today's needs. Welkin Mechanical is pleased to announce our apparent low bid on NYC Department of Environmental Protection Contract NR-111: Rehabilitation of Primary Settling Tanks and Ancillary Facilities at North River WRRF! This $142M project consists of the removal and replacement of primary settling tank longitudinal and cross collectors as well as, scum concentrators, primary sludge pumps, grit suspension pumps, and associated piping, valves, and appurtenances...all while working within an active facility which runs 24/7/365! The Welkin Mechanical team, with the support of New York Boom Trucks Inc, successfully rigged and removed a bar screen at the Tallman Island Wastewater Recovery Facility in preparation for massive system upgrades. Precision, coordination and teamwork were key in executing this operation safely and efficiently.  #welkinmechanical
