  • Gabe lives with Cerebral Palsy and relies on a wheelchair for mobility. He loves to ski, and our Health Care Coordination program was able to purchase him a ski pass, allowing him to compete in competitive sit skiing this year. His mother shared a photo of Gabe’s recent sit skiing competition at Waterville Valley, where he won gold in both of his races! Gabe’s determination and passion for skiing continue to inspire everyone around him. We’re so proud to support his journey and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next season!

  • This past week, our Director of Early Childhood & Family Support, Melissa Hugener, joined community partners in meeting with Congressman Chris Pappas to highlight how Medicaid strengthens our communities—and makes critical Waypoint programs possible. 👨👩👧👦 Without Medicaid, pregnant and newly parenting families in our Healthy Families America   program risk losing access to essential prenatal care, pediatric visits, and mental health support—services that are crucial to keeping families healthy. 🏃♀️👦 Medicaid funds 42% of Early Supports & Services, enabling children 3 and under with, or at-risk of, a developmental delay to receive vital occupational, physical, and speech therapy. If these resources are cut, young children will miss out on critical care they need to thrive. 🏠🏥 Medicaid is a cornerstone of family health in New Hampshire. Its loss would create a ripple effect—leaving families vulnerable and placing an immense strain on our communities. Medicaid is a lifeline for families and a cost-saving benefit for the state. It’s not just healthcare—it’s community care we can’t afford to lose. #MedicaidMatters #NHHealthCare #ProtectMedicaid

"This is why New Hampshire needs Medicaid. Too many vulnerable people rely on it and without it they would have nowhere to turn. I urge our leaders to safeguard Medicaid, so families like mine don’t have to live in fear of losing critical care for our loved ones." - Doris, a caregiver for her adult daughter who has a disability 🛡️ Take action to protect Medicaid in New Hampshire at https://lnkd.in/esq77JCb. 📰 Read the LTE in the Union Leader: https://lnkd.in/eF2k3w8D
