💡💰 Money Sense, Made Fun – Led by Our Scholars!📚✨ Our #Wavecrest scholars took full advantage of the March school holidays to lead their first two Wavecrest Community Service Projects in collaboration with the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC)! 🙌 Over two days, the scholars ran engaging and self-designed programmes to introduce financial literacy to young students, through fun, gamified activities: 🎲 “Smart Money Minions” (for Primary 1–3) 📊 “Budget Builders” (for Primary 4–6) It was a blast and both the scholars and beneficiaries walked away with new learnings on mentorship and #moneysense! 🧠💰 We’re incredibly proud of how our Wavecrest scholars stepped up to lead and own this initiative. From pitching the idea to CDAC, crafting the curriculum, to coordinating logistics and conducting the programmes, our scholars led the project end-to-end with minimal assistance from their supervisors. 👏 A big thank you to CDAC, for the opportunity to collaborate in empowering the next generation with essential #lifeskills like money management and decision-making. 🤝💵 This partnership aligns closely with CDAC’s mission to uplift and support youth from all backgrounds through education and community-driven programmes. 🌊 Our US-based portfolio company, Bifrost AI, has recently partnered with Tokyo-based IT services provider NTT DATA. 🇯🇵 🤖 A little background on #Bifrost: the company specialises in generating 3D synthetic data for training #artificialintelligence. Unlike real-world data, synthetic data is artificially created, enabling the generation of larger, more diverse datasets that can be scaled more easily. 🧑💻 NTT Data was looking to build robust #AI models capable of detecting objects in diverse environments, but struggled to sufficiently and correctly collect real-world data. To overcome this, they turned to Bifrost’s large and diverse synthetic datasets to enhance the performance of their AI models. 🚀 “What convinced us to move forward with Bifrost AI was their unique capability of realizing real-world ‘digital twins’ for synthetic data generation. 📡 Transcelestial is partnering with the Singapore Office for Space Technology and Industry (OSTIn) and ST Engineering Satellite Systems to pioneer Singapore’s first inter-satellite laser communications mission.  🛰️ This initiative marks a significant step in transforming space communications technology, redefining how satellites exchange data in orbit.
