Construction on a new, state-of the-art hospital tower on Kaiser Permanente Northwest’s Sunnyside Medical Center campus will begin in early 2026. The new seven-story, 615,000 square-foot facility is slated to open in 2029 and will feature leading-edge technology, expanded service capacity, and modern patient amenities. The new hospital tower will also make Sunnyside Medical Center Oregon’s first fully electric hospital.
