Each quarter, we honor a team with the Tech>FWD award for their outstanding efforts in creating solutions that enhance the experiences of our customers, members, sellers, and associates. After narrowing the nominations down to six finalists, our leaders selected the WCP (Walmart Commerce Platform) Team as the winner for their remarkable achievement! WCP streamlines global commerce by providing a single platform for international markets. This enables global consistency and tailored, localized experiences—including country-specific payment options and native language support, enhancing customer satisfaction. This innovative approach eliminates the complexity of multiple platforms and systems, driving operational efficiency and accelerating innovation. With a collective effort from 600+ engineers across time zones and organizations, including partnerships with our International Tech and Omni Tech teams, successful launches have taken place in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, paving the way for further global expansion. Congratulations to the teams that were nominated and to the winning team for their incredible work in reshaping how we serve customers worldwide!

Our AKO set the stage for a dynamic FY26! Throughout the event, a core theme emerged: AI is not just a tool, but a catalyst transforming every aspect of our business, driving productivity, innovation, and empowering our associates to do their best work, which in turn leads to better customer experiences.
