About us

Walk the Line is a full service Physical and Occupational Therapy clinic treating neurological and orthopedic injuries. Our experienced team works with individuals to develop customized programs designed around the clients needs and goals. Walk The Line incorporates the use of two staff members during most of the client session allowing for exercises to be performed in weight bearing positions and maximizing the benefit to our clients. Our program is designed to activate muscles and nerves below the level of injury. Our sessions are 3 hours or 90 minutes in duration and clients are encouraged to attend at least 2-4 days per week in order to achieve maximum results. Walk The Line represents a commitment to our community through knowledge, education and empowerment. It symbolizes the balance of what has been taught and what we know to be true. Our clients are goal oriented, empowered and recovery driven. Walk The Line is a place of health, wellness, knowledge, social interaction and through these RECOVERY!

🎉 We're thrilled to announce we have exclusively licensed Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives’s Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology! This strengthens our opportunity to be first-to-market with a BCI-enabled system to restore thought-driven movement after paralysis. The agreement gives us exclusive rights to incorporate Clinatec's investigational WIMAGINE® BCI into our investigational ARC-BCI™ System and extends our leadership in the effort to develop and commercialize BCI-enabled therapies to restore thought-driven movement of the human body after paralysis. ✨ Integrating Clinatec’s BCI with our investigational ARC-IM System creates a #DigitalBridge™ that wirelessly bypasses the injured part of the spinal cord to restore brain-to-body communication. Imagine a future in which thoughts can drive movement after paralysis, empowering individuals to reclaim control and independence never before possible. The WIMAGINE BCI has 7 years of human safety data and ONWARD ARC-IM Therapy has now been applied in more than 30 study participants. We recently announced the third successful implant of ARC-BCI Therapy to restore thought-driven movement after spinal cord injury (SCI).  Our BCI development leverages the world-class expertise of #Clinatec and .NeuroRestore and is funded by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundationand the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).  🔗 For more details, click on our press release below ⬇️ 🙏 We are grateful to deepen our collaboration with the leader in BCI technology and look forward to sharing future updates on our continued progress along this exciting frontier! Special thanks to Julie Galland, Guillaume CHARVET, Sébastien Dauvé. Note: All ONWARD® Medical devices and therapies, including but not limited to ARC-IM®, ARC-EX®, ARC-BCI™, and ARC Therapy™, alone or in combination with a brain-computer interface (BCI), are investigational and not available for commercial use.

  • Walk The Line was a sponsor for United Spinal of Michigan’s Harvest Game Night. This annual event helps to support their mission to educate, empower and advocate for the spinal and disabled community. A fun night of community, music and games! Our President, Erica Coulston, is the Michigan Chapter’s newest Board Member.

  • Walk The Line was a proud Co-Sponsor this week at an educational CEU event at the beautiful Iroquois Club. We enjoyed an informative presentation from Dr. Edgar Ross on Chronic Pain and Trauma where we learned about non pharmaceutical treatments such as virtual reality. Thank you to MARC Therapies and Harvard Med Tech for sponsoring this event with us! It was lovely to see everyone!

  • Ten years ago a Walk The Line client had the idea for a field day event where we could play games and come together as a community of clients, staff and family. The first field day was so much fun that every year WTL staff have volunteered their time to put Field Day on to keep the tradition going. Field Day 2024 was filled with fun, laughs, games, food and great music! Thank you to all who attended, brought their families and, of course, to the volunteers that made it all so special ❤️ Thank you to Quality Home Medical, Christensen Law, AICM, First Call Homecare, MARC and Crispelli’s for sponsoring this event! We couldn’t have done it without your unwavering support for our community.
