Fredericksburg Head Start partners with Downtown Greens, a non-profit providing publicly accessible parks, (ex. greenspace and gardens in Downtown Fredericksburg). They have taught a gardening class to Head Start students for 5+ years now called Garden Sprouts. It's an initiative to reduce obesity and increase exposure to healthy eating. Lessons are centered around where food comes from, gardening, and caring for our earth. Thank you! #HeadStart #HHSGov
