Last week, Eve Maler delivered a thought-provoking opening keynote focused squarely on the aliveness/deadness of consent to a community gathered by the Customer Data Alliance (CDA), founded by Chris Adelman. The event, themed "Is Consent Dead? Customer Data Privacy and Consent in the Age of AI," provided a rich platform bringing together marketing, data, and privacy cohorts. As an IAM leader with extensive experience in Customer IAM (CIAM) efforts, Eve brought the identity perspective to the table, joining other top-notch experts in the field. Her speech drew on her years of experience, new research, and insights from eye-opening studies conducted by Internet Safety Labs. She explored the intersections of customer data platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, and data brokers, delivering a well-received presentation that resonated deeply with privacy advocates.
