Gold STEP award recognizing safety excellence on the UT Health PHERB project! The University of Texas System recently awarded Vaughn a Gold Safety Through Exemplary Performance (STEP) Award for exceptional safety on The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) School of Public Health Education and Research building! The STEP program recognizes contractors who achieve high safety standards on projects for at least 12 months. The program’s scoring is based on several factors including OSHA recordable incidents, number of claims, deficiencies observed during inspections, project participation in daily inspections, and more. New Psychiatric Emergency Center coming to Fort Worth this summer!    We are proud to partner with JPS Health Network on the Psychiatric Emergency Center, which is slated to open Summer 2025! Highest point reached on the new The University of Texas at Austin Engineering Discovery Building! The University of Texas at Austin recently celebrated the topping out milestone for the new Engineering Discovery Building, for which Vaughn serves as construction manager-at-risk. The 210,000 SF building supports support research for the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering and the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering. After two years of preconstruction, demolition, and complex site work, the topping out milestone provided a well-earned moment for the team to celebrate their significant achievement with a celebratory lunch.
