This funding marks a major step forward in our goal to build a better healthcare system. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. We've been shouting it from the rooftops, but I'll say it again: there are big things happening in health tech - especially in NYC. We are seeing a once-in-a-generation alignment of technology, regulation and societal expectations that's paving the way for massive new companies to emerge, offering radically better patient and provider experience, at much lower costs. Very similar to what we witnessed (and took part in) in fintech 15 years ago, with Index portfolio companies like Revolut, Robinhood or Wise. We believe one of these next-generation health tech winners will be Nourish, which just announced a $70m Series B round led by our friend Paris Heymann at J.P. Morgan Growth. We’re excited to work alongside industry leaders and policymakers to make food-as-medicine and virtual nutrition care a standard part of the U.S. healthcare system. This national advocacy group is dedicated to ensuring all Americans can access high-quality nutrition care through telehealth — a goal that aligns directly with our work at Nourish and our mission to make high-quality nutrition care accessible to all Americans. We’re excited to announce the launch of Nourish’s new GLP-1 Companion and GLP-1 Off-Ramp Pathways, designed to help people get more from their treatment, reduce side effects, and maintain progress after stopping medication. These new clinical pathways are grounded in real-world outcomes from a survey of 3,700+ patients: ✅ Nourish patients on GLP-1s lost 33% more weight (vs. patients who did not work with a Nourish RD) ✅ 64% of Nourish patients reported improvements in side effects like nausea and GI discomfort ✅ Nourish patients on GLP-1s reported better adherence (15% missing a dose vs. 24%) vs. patients who did not work with a Nourish RD  ✅ 60% of Nourish patients who discontinued GLP-1s found Nourish helpful in maintaining their weight post-treatment  ✅ Nourish programs drive meaningful cost savings for employers ($2.1M for an employer with 10K employees) by avoiding wasted spend and optimizing for greater results These outcomes show that pairing GLP-1 treatment with personalized, insurance-covered nutrition care from Nourish makes a measurable difference in long-term results. 🔗 Learn more about our programs and read the full research report:  https://lnkd.in/eSVHpVHN
