Every month our Westminster team heads out to clean up our stretch of Huron St. as part of Adopt-A-Street. Just some gloves, trash bags, and a group of people who care about the communities where they live and work. Adopt-a-Street is a way for our team to step outside, connect, and make a visible difference in the Denver-area community. April is National Volunteer Month, and we’re highlighting some of the ways our team members give back to the communities where we live and work. Building lasting impact means more than just what we construct – it’s how we show up. Every Thursday, a few of our Kansas City team members head down to elementary schools to read with students through Lead to Read KC. It’s just 30 minutes over lunch – but it’s turned into something a lot more meaningful. Our readers connect with students over zoo animals, outer space, and Green Eggs and Ham.
