We’re proud to share that the KCI Airport Project earned DBIA-MAR’s Project of the Year. As the design-build mechanical contractor, our Construction teams installed 25,000 feet of cooling water piping, 37,000 feet of heating water piping, and 49,000 feet of piping for plumbing fixtures in this 1.1 million sq. ft. LEED Gold-certified terminal. They also helped engineer the central heating and cooling plant, featuring four 800-ton chillers with advanced series-counterflow arrangement and plume abatement technology in the cooling towers. Our Metalworks team prefabricated the piping racks throughout the facility, streamlining installation. They also prefabricated toilets with complete in-wall assemblies, significantly enhancing the efficiency and quality of our installation process. Our mission is to “Leave a Legacy,” and projects like the new terminal in Kansas City help us do just that. Thank you to our Construction and Metalworks team members who demonstrated the skill, dedication, and coordination it takes to build for generations! #LeaveALegacy

Thank you to our international peer partners NG Bailey and A.G. Coombs for hopping across the pond to talk strategy, share industry innovations, and of course, catch a Royals game! We also appreciated the warm welcome from Royals royalty: Joe Goldberg, John Sherman, and Sluggerrr, who stopped by to say hello.

Every month our Westminster team heads out to clean up our stretch of Huron St. as part of Adopt-A-Street. Just some gloves, trash bags, and a group of people who care about the communities where they live and work. Adopt-a-Street is a way for our team to step outside, connect, and make a visible difference in the Denver-area community. Thanks to everyone who keeps this going month after month! #NationalVolunteerMonth

April is National Volunteer Month, and we’re highlighting some of the ways our team members give back to the communities where we live and work. Building lasting impact means more than just what we construct – it’s how we show up. Every Thursday, a few of our Kansas City team members head down to elementary schools to read with students through Lead to Read KC. It’s just 30 minutes over lunch – but it’s turned into something a lot more meaningful. Our readers connect with students over zoo animals, outer space, and Green Eggs and Ham. Thank you to our Kansas City team members for donating your lunchbreaks for students! #NationalVolunteerMonth

In 2024 Hannah Thomazin, PE and Tom Walsh participated in our International Team Member Exchange Program with our partners, NG Bailey in the U.K. and A.G. Coombs in Australia. This unique program empowers team members to immerse themselves in new environments, collaborate with top talent abroad, and return with fresh ideas. This year we’re excited to continue the momentum, with two more team members taking part in this global opportunity. We believe investing in people is the key to building better systems, better careers, and better outcomes, and the exchange program is just one way we’re making that investment.
