Our mission is to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower students to reach their highest potential
About us
Uplift Education (Uplift) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates a network of 45 high-performing, tuition-free, public charter schools serving 23,000 students in under-served areas across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We are a reform-minded organization that has attracted funding from local and national donors such as the Communities Foundation of Texas and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Uplift's mission is to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower students to reach their highest potential and inspire a lifelong love of learning, achievement, service, and responsible citizenship. Each school provides free college preparatory education in a community that has limited high quality public education options. Our goal is to completely CLOSE the achievement gap between students, regardless of their ethnic or socio-economic background, while ensuring that 100% of our students graduate and enroll in college. Commit to Community: Our community approach means that we actively reach out to local leaders and invite them to help us improve education in their communities by serving on our local boards and being advocates for our mission in their local neighborhoods. Commit to Change: By nurturing academic performance and civic responsibility from kindergarten through high school, we do more than expand our students’ horizons. We also change people’s perceptions of what is possible in public education.

This season, our Uplift Grand and Uplift Hampton coaches had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Girls Flag Football Coaches Clinic, hosted by the Dallas Cowboys in partnership with Oakley This clinic provided hands-on training and leadership development to ensure our coaches are equipped to mentor and inspire the next generation of female athletes. At Uplift Education, we believe in breaking barriers and creating opportunities for our scholars—both in the classroom and on the field. We’re proud to support the growth of Girls Flag Football and can’t wait to see our athletes thrive this season! #UpliftEducation #GirlsFlagFootball #BuildingChampions #Leadership #UpliftFootball #UpliftFlagFootball #EmpoweringAthletes #CowboysNation #DFWSports

Thanks to Bloomberg Philanthropies, we joined fellow healthcare and education partners from across the U.S. this week to help shape the future of healthcare-focused high schools. The program gives students hands-on experience and training in the healthcare industry and prepares them for high-demand jobs with family-sustaining wages upon graduating high school. We're tremendously excited for the impact this initiative will have on thousands of students and the future healthcare workforce.

At Uplift Heights Healthcare Institute, we believe in immersive, hands-on learning. Through our collaboration with Baylor Scott & White Health, our scholars gain real-world experience every quarter, practicing with medical professionals and industry-grade equipment. Recently, NBC DFW’s Wayne Carter visited to see scholars mastering a crucial medical skill—learning how to safely remove blood clots, just as doctors and nurses do. Experiences like these prepare scholars for future careers in healthcare and beyond. Watch our feature: https://lnkd.in/g6phq9zy #UpliftHHI #HealthcareEducation #HandsOnLearning
