In 2019, Dr. Kevin McEwan, DNP, RN, NEA-BC the CNO from Idaho Falls reached out to Andrew Nydegger DNP MSNEd RN CNE our Eagle Gate Dean in Utah at that time to highlight the urgent need for nurses in Idaho Falls. Taking that challenge on, I spearheaded the establishment of two campuses in Idaho to help address the workforce shortage in the area. Last week, I had the opportunity to visit our Idaho Falls campus and had a successful accreditation visit. In addition to this campus, our Boise campus is one of the largest within the Unitek Learning with 100% NCLEX pass rate. This is a testament to the power of nursing leaders coming together to improve healthcare access by providing quality nursing education. I want to thank Nurse Leaders of Idaho and their former President Randall for their support.
