Stephanie Shack spent many years supporting United Way through her company’s employee fundraisers. When she moved to Baltimore more than two decades ago, though, she saw an opportunity to get more involved with the organization. Nearly 300 people gathered at the Senator Theatre for a special screening of the documentary, Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness. Local leaders shared their work to tackle the housing crisis in our region; the need for coordinated, streamlined resources and services for unhoused people; and ways organizations and attendees can drive the changes they want to see.
