Six months ago in the aftermath of our Indian Lake tornado crisis, thousands of donors supported Logan County through United Way in our time of need, as more than $1 million poured in from around the region and 40 states. Today, our neighbors at the United Way of Clark, Champaign & Madison Counties are sharing the need of their humanitarian crisis. Please consider a gift to the Springfield Unity Fund, established yesterday to provide targeted services to Springfield nonprofits supporting our Haitian neighbors. The fund will support a range of services that are essential for successful integration, such as early childhood education, English language classes, driving instruction, employment assistance, healthcare access and other vital programs. Derek Robb and Becca McGillis had the distinct honor to attend a picnic held by the Governor and First Lady, celebrating Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and how this program is promoting early childhood literacy in our great state. 60% of Ohio’s children are enrolled in Ohio’s Imagination Library.
