🔬 BRIDGE Fund Awardee Publishes in Nature Cancer 📢   Exciting news from UMass Chan Medical School! Sharon Cantor, PhD, a BRIDGE Fund awardee, published a study in Nature Cancer that reshapes our understanding of how anticancer drugs target BRCA1/2-deficient tumors.   Her research identifies a novel vulnerability in BRCA-mutant cancer cells - single-strand DNA nicks that expand into lethal gaps.
