For the last fourteen years, Monty Harris, a company-man in the Williston Basin, has proudly raised his daughter with autism. Being diagnosed early at the age of three, his daughter has taught him about the importance of kindness, reminding us that “we must be kind to everyone; you never know what they have going on in their lives.” Today is particularly special for him because it’s World Autism Awareness Day. Inspiring our people to help raise awareness, our team in the Williston Basin took the initiative to deliver him a hydro dipped bit to honor his daughter. He also shared a powerful sentiment from his local autism advocacy group, “If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve only met one person with autism.” With over 5 million people in the United States living with autism, according to the CDC, these people all represent the uniqueness of each diagnosis. 🧩 #AutismAwareness #Ulterra

On April 2, 2024, we designed the first-ever Maverick™ bit, which was sent to Hobbs, New Mexico! This design features the first precision pockets that fully orient shaped cutters. Since its release, this technology has streamlined the alignment process and significantly improved overall performance. The success of Maverick is rooted in collaboration. Our dedicated teams in engineering, manufacturing, and sales, along with our vendors, have played a crucial role in bringing this concept to life. Maverick minimizes formation rubbing, reduces substrate wear, and improves ROP, resulting in over 6.2 million feet drilled to date. #Ulterra

On March 31st, 2005, we manufactured our very first PDC bit under the Ulterra name at our original matrix facility in West Texas — a 7.875" for a customer in the Rockies. In the early days, our small team supported mainly independent operators, knowing each successful run was as crucial to them as it was to us. Our commitment to performance built strong relationships across our original five districts in the Rockies, Permian, MidCon, South Texas, and ArkLaTex, laying the foundation for who Ulterra is today. #Ulterra #OnThisDayAtUlterra #20YearsOfUlterra

Joining in on the celebration of Ulterra's 20-year anniversary, our Leduc Manufacturing team gathered together for lunch. Did you know: Ulterra acquired United Diamond back in 2007 and thanks to their original team we also adopted their teal color, which was originally inspired by a snowmobile. #Ulterra #20YearsOfUlterra

Today marks a monumental milestone — Ulterra's 20-year anniversary! To honor this special occasion, our Fort Worth Manufacturing, Engineering, and Corporate teams gathered at the plant on Monday for a day of celebration. Joining in on the fun were hundreds of our people, along with current and former leaders, including those who traveled from out of town, as well as former CEO, Johnny Everett, and former VP of Business Development, Justin McMillan. The day kicked off with a delicious lunch, specialty Ulterra-themed drinks, and cake. Afterwards, our people hung out and played games — dunking over a dozen leaders in the dunk tank, catching as much cash as possible in the money machine, and winning prizes in the spin-the-wheel. Thank you to everyone, both past and present, who has been a part of our 20-year story. #Ulterra #20YearsOfUlterra

As we mark two decades of Ulterra, we reflect on how our team has cultivated a strong sense of family. Coming together to celebrate professional and personal milestones, our people have celebrated company achievements, anniversaries, and supported customers at industry events and rig cooks. But it's not just the work-related moments we've shared — our people have also been there for each other's personal milestones: welcoming new babies, celebrating holidays, and attending one another’s weddings. Join us as we look back at some of the moments and the incredible people who have been a part of our twenty-year history. #Ulterra #20YearsofUlterra

An operator in Gundy Creek, Canada, had great success with the 171mm MAV613, demonstrating exceptional performance and reliability under challenging drilling conditions across four runs. They reached a comparable depth twice as fast, drilling 30% further and achieving 50% faster performance compared to the offset well. By utilizing the MAV613, this operator pushed beyond previous depths, maximizing efficiency and increasing meterage drilled. #Ulterra #Maverick
