About us
Established in 1940, UCCA unites and advocates in the name of nearly 30 fraternal, educational, religious, cultural, veterans and humanitarian organizations in the Ukrainian American community. UCCA maintains local all-volunteer chapters across the United States, with a national office in New York City, as well as a Washington, D.C. bureau, the Ukrainian National Information Service. UCCA is also a founding member of the Ukrainian World Congress (ukrainianworldcongress.org), the international assembly of Ukrainian public organizations representing over 20 million people, as well as a founding member of the Central and East European Coalition (ceecoalition.us), which coordinates the efforts of national ethnic organizations representing 20 million Americans.

UCCA will host the XXIII Congress of Ukrainians in America on 11-13 October 2024. The XXIII Congress will convene outside Philadelphia at the newly refurbished Holiday Inn Lansdale - Hatfield, located at 1750 Sumneytown Pike, Kulpsville, PA, 19443. At this national convention, delegates from across the United States will meet to plan our united Ukrainian American community’s course of action for the next four years. Delegates will also hear reports from the outgoing National Executive and Committee Chairs, discuss the work that has been accomplished since the last convention and elect a new UCCA National Executive. Of special significance will be the planned workshops and roundtable discussions for both delegates and guests, which will allow for open discussion on key political, strategic and social concerns that are important to the Ukrainian American community as well as its relations with Ukraine.
