Happy TWELVE10 day!
12/10 is my daughter Daniella's birthday and mine, hence my company name.
Outstanding gift from the wife, framing one of my old pro football shirts hidden in the closet, reminding me of a time when I had some athletic ability in a year where I've broken my neck and had a stroke and almost died, but I think I've milked that enough.
Luckily for my clients, as good as I was as a goalkeeper once upon a time, you're in much safer hands now (sorry, not sorry) with retaining me to build out your GTM engineering or Product team. For 2025 though, I'm swamped for the rest of 2024.
I have 3 retained searches left for the year with Dec 30th start dates (or at the latest 1st week of Jan) so they'll all move quickly.
2 out of the 3 can be found advertised on TWELVE10's page. The other is a confidential exec search for another client I'm being a sniper on, so don't come to me, I'll find you.
I’ve been retained to lead the hiring efforts for the go-to-market team of one of Austin’s best-known private equity portcos as part of its launch in January. It's a life sciences, ML company geared towards improving patient care.
So far, I’ve successfully placed their entire ML team, the engineering team, and the design function. Next up is the customer success function, I'm hiring for a CS Engineer and a CS Analyst.
If you're looking for meaningful, mission driven (and fully remote within the US) work, have an extensive Healthcare background and have worked for early stage start ups, reach out to me. This is a special company, I've placed basically everyone in it, they're all awesome humans.
Also, (and not relevant at all to the search) but I just want to flex on the "it's been a tough year" excuse making recruiters, it hasn't, it's been an incredible year. If I place these 3 before the year is up, it'll push me over the million dollar mark for 2024 in a year where I've only worked 8 months, the other 4 I've been in intense rehab for my broken spine for March/ April and had 2 months in speech therapy to learn to talk again post stroke (June/July), I'm selfishly and highly incentized to work my arse off to get this over the line for my client and you (and me).
We have a start date locked in and interview slots for next week, so pressure's on from my client.
Luckily for them, as a former league 2 goalkeeper, I thrive under pressure, games just don't get much bigger than Rochdale vs Wrexham, where I would sit on the bench anyway.
Right, go ahead and apply. I'm taking the afternoon off to play with my kids in my pool in my Ocean view Cayman Islands second house in 90 degree heat. It isn't quite as glamorous as being a League 2 footballer in the North West of England, where I can only assume it's currently wet and freezing, but still, it's a nice gift from the wife to remind me of "what could have been" if I still played football.
I don't really know how to end posts so I'll just stop typing.
