Even a short discussion with Sarah Muñoz will reveal one of her natural talents: “I’m a woo,” says the Senior Sales Consultant, referring to her abilities of winning others over as CliftonStrengths defines, “sales is probably where I’m supposed to be.” Sarah joined TVF nearly 10 years ago in a customer support role and has risen through the Sales Team ranks, a pathway she says has given her an enhanced level of respect for working with customers. One of TVF’s Core Values is Care Deeply, which Sarah says is foundational to who we are and says she strongly identifies with it. “I don't think TVF would be here without if we didn't care so deeply about our customers and their successes.” She says her fellow employee-owners care so deeply for each other and who we serve that we’ve become more than coworker. “We're like siblings, you know. It's kind of like we can argue and disagree… and get mad, but we come back to the table and we eat dinner together… and we work through it and I think that's kind of what family does.” The self-proclaimed “certifiable book nerd” says when she’s not enjoying time with her family, she is typically reading two books at any given time and listening to the audio of another. The Harry Potter series became her gateway into the style she prefers, which leans toward the “romantasy” genre. “I want to be entertained and escape,” she adds, “I love a good love story, but if it's got dragons to slay, or wolves, or fae, I'll eat it up!” #TVFCommunity #EmployeeHighlight #TeamTVF #EmployeeOwnership

Happy 20th Anniversary to the one and only Chris Fredericks… without him, TVF wouldn’t be employee owned! 🎉 Chris is our former CEO and president, and in 2010, he drove our transition to an ESOP. Ten years later, he launched our 100% employee-owned holding company, Empowered Ventures (EV), built off of TVF’s employee ownership success. In 2023, he moved to a full-time focus on EV, which now includes five companies in the EV family. In addition to his ESOP’ing excellence and a passion for developing life-changing outcomes for fellow employee-owners, Chris’s effective leadership, welcoming ways, and team-focused approach continue to be hallmarks of TVF. Chris is also an avid foodie and adventurer, so we hope many well-crafted meals, scrumptious desserts, and breathtaking sights will be around the corner. Cheers to 20 years, Chris! #EmployeeOwned #WorkAnniversary #CheersTo20Years #LeadershipMatters

We’re proud to give back to our communities and proud to join Advanced Textiles Association's Specialty Fabrics Review in spotlighting our own Jennie Rossi and the charitable efforts of the entire TVF team. 👏 In recent years, TVF employee owners have donated time, money, and supplies to The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program, packed meals with Kids Against Hunger, hosted American Red Cross drives, assembled care packages for Project Ropa, and more. Our Indiana and California homes give us everything, and we love to try to pay it forward. Jennie serves as sales forecasting and planning manager and leads our social impact committee. In 2021, we launched our Social Impact Pillar to help guide our commitment: “Improve the quality of life where we work and live by serving and supporting our communities and environment.” These efforts are an important part of the fabric of TVF. Huge shoutout to Jennie and everyone involved in making a real difference! 🧡 hashtag#TVF hashtag#TVFteam hashtag#SocialImpact hashtag#CommunityInvolvement hashtag#TextileIndustry hashtag#SpecialtyFabricsReview hashtag#GivingBack

One of our favorite days is April 1st, and not because of April Fools—it's one of only two days a year we get to welcome the newest entrants to the EV ESOP. We often celebrate the benefits of employee ownership for both employee and employer. But what’s even more meaningful is zooming in to see the potentially life-changing outcomes for each individual. There are many stories of unique personal successes that are empowered by employee ownership, and the first step is joining the ESOP. So this week, we celebrate our newest employee owners. We are grateful to be alongside them and excited about this significant and, over time, potentially life-changing milestone. From TVF: Kanwal Kheiri, Lisa Pratt, and Hummy Truh From Firstar Precision Corp: Keaton Sandor From Paramount Plastics: Derek Runkle and Rachel Wolf From Benoure Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning: Keith Benoit, Shawn Bishop, Kenneth Brande, and Logan Ladeau. ...and we can't wait for October 1, when more EVers (including from Whitney Brothers®) will become employee owners. Congratulations!

Our very own Samantha Marion, Sales Director of Apparel & Home Décor at TVF, recently presented at the 2025 Women In Textiles Summit in New York! From thought-provoking sessions to meaningful conversations, the summit continues to be a space where ideas flourish and connections are made. Sam’s session was just one of many that reminded us why community and collaboration are so important in this industry. She shared her personal journey of leading with confidence, building influence, and guiding change as a young female leader in a traditionally male-dominated space. Thank you to the WIT community for welcoming us and for creating such a powerful platform for stories to be shared and voices to be heard. We’re honored to be part of it. #WomenInTextiles #Leadership #TextileIndustry #EmployeeOwned #Inspiration #WIT2025

🌱 Interest is growing among our print media fabric customers (and their customers) for more sustainable solutions. Regulations in the United States – most often involving PFAS, or “forever chemicals” – are also ramping up. Sustainability comes in forms beyond products, including partnering with fabric manufacturers who value greener practices in purchasing, production, environmental management, and recycling. 🌿 Reach out to our Print Media Sales Team today to discuss which options best suit your sustainability objectives.

Guest after guest on the Textile Nerd Podcast brings up sustainability as a primary industry concern and opportunity. It's such a pervasive topic of discussion, Lori and Dan captured three expert perspectives on this vast subject: pediatric hand surgeon and medical sustainability scholar Dr. Holly Morris, Gaston College Textile Technology Center Executive Director Jasmine Cox, and PatternRoom.com founder and CEO Julia Watts. https://lnkd.in/g82WaKXQ
