Mary Fletcher-Louis, Managing Director & Head of Trinity Life Sciences’ Value COE, was recently featured in an article published by Informa. The article discusses a recent comparison of HTA agency guidance by Trinity which found that NICE (UK) and the HTA agencies in Canada and Australia are actively asking manufacturers to include health equity perspectives in their submissions. NICE will soon be updating its methods for technology evaluation to formally incorporate evidence on health inequalities. Mary notes that, “My team and I are helping the industry to figure out when health equity is relevant, and then to communicate the health-equity related value in a way that is acceptable to health care payers.” Message Mary on LinkedIn if you would like to discuss your value strategy, incorporating equity-driven approaches.
