You don’t have to be a large industrial to benefit from #automation 🤖 Manufacturing sites that have repeatable material movements with manual tow tractors, forklifts or trucks often face challenges in ensuring efficient and safe material transport. 🏭 Use case A recent deployment of EZTow autonomous towing in an automotive supplier’s facility showcases how driverless technology can streamline logistics while addressing operational bottlenecks: 🚧 Single-building manufacturing site, moving material out of the back of the building, around to the side, and back inside for another production step over a 900-meter indoor/outdoor route. 🤖 Autonomous towing replaced manually operated forklifts and tow tractors. ⏲️ Three shifts, five days a week, for a reliable, repeatable logistics flow that minimizes downtime and safety risks. ✅ With limited expansion space and existing traffic challenges, automation provided an effective solution.
