The Town of Garner's legal team is planning a thorough review and update of its Code of Ordinances. This effort aims to ensure that local laws align with state regulations and address the Town's current needs. As part of this process, we invite residents to provide feedback and suggestions on proposed changes to the Code. Public input is crucial because it allows the Town to gather diverse perspectives and concerns from the community. Visit GarnerNC.gov/CodeRevision to submit feedback and sign up for alerts on this project.

Last night, the Town Council voted unanimously to approve the proposal for merger of Garner Fire-Rescue and with the Town of Garner. The merger is slated to take effect this July. There was a large turnout of GFR staff present to show support for the proposal to make GFR a Town department.
