The Los Angeles Rubber Group, Inc. (TLARGI) is a non-profit professional organization for companies and individuals working in, or alongside, the rubber industry. For almost a century, TLARGI has connected companies, employees, friends and family through technical training, fun networking events, and consistent resources that help bring success. We are a sub division of The Rubber Division ACS The Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society is an international association of chemists, engineers, technicians, scientists, plant managers, sales and marketing professionals and others in the rubber, polymer or related fields within industry, academia and government. They work to educate, connect and grow the evolving elastomer industry through educational, technical, business and networking activities. Rubber Division, ACS is over 100 years old! Congratulations to the 2024-2025 Graduates of our Basic Rubber Technology Course! 🎓 We are thrilled to celebrate the success of our students who have successfully completed our Basic Rubber Technology course. Throughout their journey, they engaged in comprehensive learning experiences, including in-depth readings, hands-on workshops, collaborative group activities, and insightful plant tours. TLARGI was able to bring together passionate learners from diverse locations. Students traveled from multiple counties, including Northern California and even a few students from outside the country! The dedication to travel every week is demonstrating the demand and enthusiasm for advancing knowledge in the rubber industry. We celebrated our students with a special graduation dinner, where each student was presented with a certificate recognizing their achievement. A heartfelt thank you to our instructor, Sam Porter and our Chairman, Jackie Gandara-Armstrong who both shared inspiring words during the event. We are incredibly happy for our graduates and excited to see them apply their new skills to make meaningful contributions to the industry. Congratulations once again to our remarkable class!
