And that’s a wrap on the TitletownTech Startup Draft Combine! 🎬 We kicked things off with a dinner between our current portfolio companies and our prospects, and closed out the Combine with a tour of Lambeau Field. In between? Two jam packed days of awesomeness! We facilitated 30+ one-on-one meetings between our Combine participants and corporate partners -- creating space for real commercial conversations. We also made time to have some fun: kicking field goals and running 40s. To the founders, thank you for your openness, your storytelling, and your willingness to be vulnerable. You made this experience meaningful. To the 30+ corporate leaders who gave up your afternoon/evening to dive into startup culture and share your business cases and insights, thank you for showing up with generosity and intent. Now, onto April 24. We’ll be taking time to reflect on the experience before announcing our first pick of the TitletownTech Startup Draft class during our Startup Draft broadcast. It’s TitletownTech Startup Draft Combine week! 🙌 After reviewing nearly 1,000 applications from startups across almost all 50 states and spanning every one of our core industries, narrowing it down to just seven was no easy task. These companies rose to the top, and now they’re heading to Green Bay for the next phase of the TitletownTech Startup Draft, hosted in partnership with the Green Bay Packers and Microsoft. We officially launched FutureTech Forum today, a new initiative convening industry leaders to explore, question, and prepare for the rise of transformative technologies like AI, quantum computing, autonomy, synthetic biology, and fusion. To kick things off, we hosted Ethan Mollick, one of TIME’s most influential voices on AI, for a private conversation in Green Bay with FutureTech Forum members, select TitletownTech Startup Draft founders, and our team. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, from SLMs and LLMs to AI agents and the blurry definitions in between. We talked about how organizations are navigating AI adoption, how experimentation is accelerating, and what it takes to turn awareness into action.
