🌟 Meet Daniela: Charting a Path to Leadership in Tech & Engineering 🌟 We’re proud to support students like Daniela, a junior at Amherst College (Class of 2026), who is charting an impressive path toward a career in FinTech and Technology. Majoring in Computer Science and Math, Daniela’s journey as a first-gen college student reflects her perseverance and the crucial role that community plays in her success. In an article featured by Amherst College last fall, Daniela shared how finding a safe and supportive space on campus has been essential to her college experience. Amherst is part of the Thrive Scholars' College Collaborative, a powerful network of 12 dedicated college partners committed to expanding opportunities for high-achieving students from under-resourced backgrounds. Our College Success program is dedicated to helping Scholars like Daniela build those vital communities. We know that a strong, supportive network is just as important as academics in a student's success. Through one-on-one support from our staff and mentorship from peers and volunteers, we help students navigate college life and cultivate relationships that are key to both their academic and personal growth. 🔗 Click below to read more on Daniela’s journey—alongside two other high-achieving Amherst students—and how we’re supporting Scholars like her every step of the way. #EconomicMobility #FirstGen #FinTech #WomenInTech #STEM #NonprofitImpact #HigherEducation #StudentSuccess #CareerPathways

  • Thrive Scholar Spotlight ✨ Meet Maya, a first-generation college student enrolled in our Law Pathway program. Maya is a first-year student at the University of Notre Dame, Class of 2028, double majoring in Political Science/Government and Design. This summer, Maya is gaining valuable experience as an intern with Dismas House, a nonprofit supporting formerly incarcerated individuals as they reintegrate into society. As she explores legal advocacy, criminal justice reform, and community engagement, Maya is building the foundational skills she will carry throughout her career. Maya’s experience is part of a broader trend within our program. Last summer, 74% of rising college seniors were placed in internships, demonstrating the powerful impact of our efforts to ensure real-world opportunities for Scholars pursuing meaningful, high-impact careers. Maya shares: “As a pre-law student, I recognize that the best lawyers are not just those who excel in the courtroom but those who deeply understand the human experiences of the people they represent. My work will be a blend of legal advocacy, social service, and grassroots organizing, allowing me to contribute in meaningful ways.” Maya is not just preparing for law school—she’s learning what it truly means to advocate for justice with empathy and purpose. “I knew that I wanted to spend my summer doing something that would immerse me in the realities of the people I hope to serve as a future attorney.” Let’s celebrate Maya and all Thrive Scholars committed to positively impacting their communities. #CollegeToCareer #FutureLeaders #NonprofitImpact #ThriveScholars
