🪑 What separates a good C-suite from an excellent one? Here's what I can say from my experience growing and leading procurement teams. It’s simple: whether or not they give Procurement a real seat at the table. Here’s the difference: ✅ Good C-suites see Procurement as a cost center. ➡️ We’re looped in late, asked to “just get the contract done,” and judged on savings alone. 💎 Excellent C-suites know Procurement is a strategic function. ➡️ We get invited early — during scoping, budgeting, and vendor evaluation — because they value our ability to drive innovation, protect revenue, and mitigate risk. ✅ Good C-suites say “Procurement should work cross-functionally,” but don’t resource us. 💎 Excellent C-suites empower us with the tools and visibility to orchestrate across Legal, Finance, IT, and the business. ✅ Good C-suites invite Procurement to the table “when needed.” 💎 Excellent C-suites build a permanent seat at the table. We’re part of leadership conversations about vendor strategy, AI adoption, ESG, and more. An excellent C-suite doesn’t just listen to Procurement. They amplify our impact. To my procurement leaders and executives out there in the wild looking for resources, let me save you time, ask me about Zip and how it can help your team go from good to excellent! #Procurement #Leadership #StrategicSourcing #FutureOfWork #LatinasInTech #ProcurementOrchestration #zip

📺 “I’ve been in procurement a long time, and I’ve never seen anything like it.” — Ilysa Laulom, Head of Procurement at Squarespace. From 40 days to 10. That’s how much Squarespace cut their procurement cycle time with Zip. And that’s not all. They consolidated suppliers, integrated risk and compliance workflows, and actually heard this from stakeholders: “I love the process.” In Ilysa’s words: 🛠️ Zip’s intake experience is unmatched 📉 Cycle time slashed by 66% 🔁 Real orchestration, not just intake forms 🎥 See how Squarespace modernized procurement from the inside out: https://lnkd.in/eYqdZXuU 👀 Want to see it in action? What a recap. 🙌 Susan Walsh attended Zip Forward Europe and captured the energy, urgency, and optimism that made the event so special. 🧠 From AI on the battlefield to why Gen Z won't touch legacy tools, her blog is a must-read for anyone thinking about the future of procurement. 🗣️ “Let’s stop doing things ‘because that’s the way we’ve always done them.’ Let’s transform with people, purpose, and a little sass.” — Susan Walsh 📖 Read the full piece below 👇

"84% of digital transformation projects fail." That was one of my key takeaways from Dr. Elouise Epstein 🏳️⚧️during her closing keynote at Zip Forward Europe. And there were many more. Earlier this month, I attended Zip's first-ever European event, and… wow. Short. Punchy. Honest. And full of powerful takeaways, like: 💡 98% of Europe’s top 100 firms had third-party risk incidents last year 💡 Transformation only works when it’s people-first 💡 Gen Z won't use tech that looks like it’s from 2005 💡 And AI isn’t “the future”—it’s already rewriting the rules 💡 Orchestration is the new operating model 💡 AI is here, and it’s hungry 💡 Humans still matter This event was a rallying cry for doing procurement better, faster, and more meaningfully, with people, with purpose and yes, with a little sass. Let’s stop clinging to the old ways and build systems our teams actually want to use. And it goes without saying, let’s clean that data.! See you at the next one, Zip! Thanks to the speakers James Meads, Felix Meng, Nick Heinzmann, Jeremy Smith, David Wylie, John Butcher, Jarrod Glover, Richard Hogg, Nicole Sherwin. Rujul Zaparde, Lu Cheng and of course Darragh Collins

🧠 “Within 19 months, we’ll have all the technology we need. The limitation isn’t tech, it’s people and Excel.” – Dr. Elouise Epstein 🏳️⚧️, Partner at Kearney. Procurement 4.0 isn’t coming: it’s already here. And at Zip Forward Europe, Dr. Elouise Epstein 🏳️⚧️ gave us a wake-up call ☎️ 💥 Agentic AI is real. 💥 The robots are not just coming — they’re already negotiating. 💥 And our systems, data, and mindsets need to catch up — fast. Her keynote was one of the most talked-about moments of the event, and it’s now live to rewatch. 🎥 Catch the replay: https://lnkd.in/e_FQvsaa
