Recruiting is unreal - Hiring managers will tell you a position is urgent and needed to be “filled yesterday…” So you send them some great candidates. They wait 3 weeks to interview them and then take 2 weeks to give you feedback because they are “busy…” The candidates lose interest and drop out and the hiring manager asks… “Why didn't you keep them warm bro…” Umm coz they aren't gas station food bro, get yourself together and move quicker. 🙄

Recruiting is wild, You spend hours and hours messaging and cold calling hundreds of candidates - then screening and interviewing them to end up with the top 3 candidates Then you send them to the hiring manager and they say “My bad, search is on hold we decided to hire the CEO's son Stevie…” Thanks 🙄

When you submit 3 great candidates and the hiring manager goes ahead and directly schedules 3 face to face interviews… Recruiter: #recruiterlife

12 hours a day, 6 days a week... I love recruitment, but not that much. At least it's remote... Mercor, you forgot one thing. You're based in CA what's the salary for this role? You said "competitive," but for 72 hours a week, it better be a lot. Let us know.

I don't know about you, but I often struggle with being present in the Real World. I really love the online digital world - it’s helped me build a multiple-6 figure business, an incredible network, and a truly great life. But it has come with a cost that I underestimated. Being present in conversations, at social events, and even with my family when I’m not working has become increasingly challenging. My wife is faithful to remind me that so many of the moments in life are precious and we NEVER get them back. The truth is, that for me it's the “online digital world” that can rob me from these moments but for many of us it can be our businesses or our career and jobs… It’s great to work hard and be dedicated to success to provide for our families, But let's never forget why we are working so hard. As I’ve learned recently in a painful way, we aren't guaranteed these moments in life. Shout out to my wife, not on Linkedin, for loving me and putting up with me… as you can imagine… I’m a challenge to live most of the time 😉 ❤️❤️ Let’s all be more present today!!!
