New grants for California live arts organizations! A first-in-the-nation plan from the State of California will reimburse small nonprofit performing arts organizations for employee pay through a $12.5 million grant program. Performing Arts Equitable Payroll Fund grants will reimburse a portion of payroll expenses for anyone hired as an employee, including actors, musicians, technical staff, directors, choreographers, designers and administrative staff.
