Meet our Minneapolis Visionaries of the Year Honored Hero, Tallie! Talie was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2022 at the age of 19 following her first year of college. One of the chemotherapies she received caused a blood clot in her brain resulting in a stroke one month into treatment and leaving her without speech for 24 hours, which was really scary. Her treatment and recovery was challenging with seizures and avascular necrosis in her hip. After treatment concluded, she returned to college, changed her major to cellular and molecular biology and has plans to pursue forensic science or research. Tallie and her family are happy to be able to do something to help find better, less harsh treatments for blood cancer patients. Tallie says. "I decided to get involved with LLS because their mission is to fight for kids like me. I want to be part of the fight that ensures someday kids won’t have to go through what I and so many others did. " #LLSVisionaries #CancelBloodCancer The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Taylor Ebneter has joined the Visionaries of the Year Candidate Class and is looking forward to making an impact on the blood cancer world that has directly impacted her family.
