The Design Lab is a southwest based landscape architecture and planning firm looking to shape the future through innovative and ecologically conscious design. We have experience in a wide range of projects from regional planning to residential design that includes, active transportation, Equestrian planning and design, trails, commercial complexes, multi-family housing, parks, complete streets, pathways, urban design, and residential design of high end custom landscapes. All of our projects have a focus and attention to the needs of every environmental aspect, from the people who live there to the biology that surrounds it. This ensure every project we undertake helps to create a sense of community and belonging. Our Firm is the next generation of the well known and beloved Coffman Studio landscape architecture & planning with the same great team with a new name and Justin Azevedo now at the helm. We continue to work with out long term partners of Coffman Studio and are ushering in a new era with additional clients that we hope to work with for many years to come!
