We host JOYful birthday celebrations for children experiencing homelessness.

About us

For the 2.5 million children experiencing homelessness and transition across the United States, opportunities to celebrate and feel special can often be eclipsed by the stresses of uncertainty and hardship. • 🎉 What if ONE volunteer experience could transform your team and your workplace — all while bringing JOY to kids who need it most? At The Birthday Party Project, we've witnessed the ripple effect of teams coming together to serve. It's more than just doing good — it's about discovering new energy, connection, and purpose within your team. To celebrate National Volunteer Month, we’ve created a resource to show you how partnering with us goes beyond fun and cake — it can spark something powerful for your people and your culture. 🥳 Ready to see what we mean? 🎈 Check out the guide below! 🎊    Learn more about volunteering with us: https://lnkd.in/eVqs8eT

  • 🎉Help Us Keep the Magic Going At every party, we make sure our birthday kids leave with two special things: 📸 A photo that captures their moment of JOY 🎁 A gift bag filled with that special birthday gift from their wishlist For many of the children we serve, their Instax photo may be their only printed memory while staying in shelter, and their gift bag might be filled with their only birthday gift. HELP! We're running low on both, and we need your help to keep the JOY going! Here's how you can make an impact today: 📸 Donate Fuji Instax film 🎁 Send gift bags 📦 Shop our wishlist (link in bio) Because every child deserves to feel seen, known, and celebrated.

  • Partnerships that Spark Joy! This weekend, our mission came to life in a big way, thanks to the incredible generosity of DreamWorks Animation and Oriental Trading Company, A Berkshire Hathaway Company Together, we hosted a carnival-themed celebration for children and families impacted by the LA wildfires on the DreamWorks campus. Every detail was designed to bring JOY and magic- from fun games to meet-and-greets with Gabby and DogMan! Nothing Bundt Cakes Glendale provided bundtinis for the celebration, and CT & Co.. was the glue that held it all together! The fun didn't stop there: DreamWorks volunteers assembled each bag to support our Share Your Birthday™ campaign—honoring Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse and Oriental Trading Company ensured each bag was filled with everything needed to make a birthday extra special. We are deeply grateful to our partners who believe in the power of JOY and celebration. Thank you for helping us make birthdays brighter for so many!

I build things. I love to elevate ideas, amplify voices, and cultivate communities. Oh, I'm a champion of people, because people matter most.

I had the pleasure of joining Katie Goar on her podcast, ChangeMakers, for a thoughtful conversation about impact, leadership, and community. Katie asked such insightful questions, bringing out new perspectives on our work—and I’m excited to share it with you! A big thank you to Quadel for the incredible work you're doing in our community. You can watch the episode on YouTube or listen on your favorite podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify. I would love to hear your thoughts. • 🎁 Behind the Scenes of JOY: Why Party Prep Matters! Not all heroes wear party hats—some wrap gifts, decorate birthday cards, and pack the party bins before the celebration even begins! Before every party, Birthday Enthusiasts work behind the scenes to ensure every detail is just right. Because JOY isn't just in the party—it's in the anticipation and the care poured into every small moment. Why It Matters: 🎂 A decorated card says: You are seen. 🎈 A wrapped gift tells a child: You are worth celebrating. 🎁 A thoughtfully planned party creates memories that build confidence and belonging. Want to help create birthday magic? Sign up to volunteer and be part of the JOY—before the party even starts!

    Product Development at Kendra Scott

Today I participated in the last philanthropy event of the fiscal year with some of my fellow Kendra Scott Product Team members creating birthday cards for The Birthday Party Project. I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to serve on the Philanthropy Committee this year which allowed me to generate opportunities for me and my teammates to give back and be actively present in the communities that we are a part of. I am especially grateful to work at a company that not only prioritizes, but expects philanthropy to be a value practiced by everyone in the organization. Here's to doing more good in 2025!
