  • 🌟 Honoring a Lifetime of Dedication – Freddie Maxwell Receives the 2025 Tommy Engelke TACC Distinguished Service Award 🌟 On Monday, March 17, during our Annual Meeting at Margaritaville Resort in Montgomery, Texas, we had the privilege of presenting one of TACC’s highest honors: the Tommy Engelke Distinguished Service Award. This year’s recipient, Mr. Freddie Maxwell, is the very definition of service and commitment. A lifelong farmer from Sudan, Texas, Freddie has devoted himself not only to agriculture, but to his family, community, and the cooperative system. From leading Farmer Cooperative Compress and playing a key role in the creation of Texas Producers Cooperative, to serving as Mayor of Sudan for over a decade, Freddie’s legacy is built on leadership, integrity, and heart. His impact stretches across generations—from mentoring young ag leaders to working side-by-side with his family on the farm. As we celebrated Freddie’s professional accomplishments on the 17th, we were also honored to recognize a personal milestone—45 years of marriage with his wife, Pam. Together, they’ve built a legacy of love, hard work, and faith. Please join us in congratulating Freddie Maxwell, our 2025 Tommy Engelke Distinguished Service Award honoree. 🏆👏
