For 25 years, we've welcomed trainees worldwide to step into TEEX - Law Enforcement and Protective Services' Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Training Program. We're honored to implement this training for many years to come. This video will give you a bit of insight on the process:
An innovative training program developed by Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service - TEEX and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has trained new generations of workers for more than eight years on how to safely handle explosives, a critical skill for LLNL employees who develop and support a wide range of national security missions, including the nuclear weapons complex. The course provides hands-on training, culminating in detonating explosives on the explosive range at Texas A&M-RELLIS, and drives home the importance of safety processes and standards in explosives handling. We are grateful to have shared 25 years with JB and will continue to honor his legacy as we extend prayers to everyone who knew and loved him. #OneTEEX #OneTeam 🕊️
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Associate Division Director, JB Gregory. During his 25 years at TEEX, JB filled various roles from Agency Instructor to Associate Division Director. He was instrumental in the success of our OSHA Ed Center. His dedication to the safety industry was second to none, and he could recite many OSHA regulations from memory. His passion for teaching showed through his actions in the classroom. As a leader, he was passionate about developing his staff. He inspired many to do their job with excellence in whatever capacity they held. JB's motto was, "If it is right for #teexsafety and right for TEEX, then we do it."
