INCREDIBLE RESCUE! Michigan State Police Locate and Rescue Missing Two-Year-Old Using FLIR Thermal Sensor Hats off to Sergeant Cole Martin and Tactical Flight Officer Brandon Franklin of the Michigan State Police, and their teams on the ground, who relied on our Star SAFIRE 380HDc thermal imaging system to locate a two-year-old boy who had wandered away from his home at night into nearby woods. With temps forecasted to drop below freezing as the night wore on, every second counted. Martin and Franklin were already in the air when the call came in and re-routed to the area immediately to find the child. While searching for a heat signature with their EO/IR camera, the officers noticed something small moving in a ditch. The image on their monitor was indeed the missing boy, who'd miraculously come to a halt, safe and conscious, just off the Jackson County freeway. Check out the exciting and heartwarming video from Good Morning America. Hero troopers indeed! https://bit.ly/4lF95wm #Rescue #SAR #Michigan
