A recent Executive Order from the White House has raised concerns about the future of the CDFI Fund by calling for the elimination of "non-statutory components." In a recent article, SSTI said it could put small business investments at risk. Industry experts - Clint Gwin (Pathway Lending) & Grady Vanderhoofven (Three Roots Capital) shared their perspectives on the potential impact. "We believe 3Roots’ activities are entirely consistent with the ‘statutory components and functions’ of the CDFI Fund," Grady Vanderhoofven said.
