🚨 Now Hiring: Payroll Administrator – San Diego, CA 🚨 Talent Source is seeking a Payroll Administrator to work with our client in the shipyard! If you have experience processing payroll and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, we want to hear from you. Job Details: 💰 Pay: $33-$38 per hour 🛠 Job Type: Full-time/Temp-to-Hire Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Process weekly payroll for all employee types Accurately record hours worked, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and benefits Ensure compliance with payroll tax laws and labor regulations Validate payroll data and ensure ADP processes tax reports (941s, W-2s, 1099s) Maintain and update employee payroll records in ADP Respond to audits and payroll-related inquiries Research and resolve payroll discrepancies Generate payroll reports for internal and external use Support payroll aspects of onboarding and offboarding Assist with budgeting and forecasting for payroll-related costs Perform other payroll and accounting-related duties as needed Minimum Qualifications: ✔️ High school diploma or equivalent (required) ✔️ Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) ✔️ 2–3 years of payroll experience ✔️ Working knowledge of ADP payroll system (preferred) ✔️ Understanding of payroll tax laws and labor compliance ✔️ Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills ✔️ High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information This is a great opportunity to grow your career in payroll and accounting while working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
