About us
Susquehanna is a global quantitative trading firm founded by a group of friends who share a passion for game theory and probabilistic thinking. Our rigorous and analytical approach to decision making has led Susquehanna to become one of the largest and most successful proprietary trading firms in the world. In our offices around the globe, our employees are relentless problem solvers who collaborate to make optimal decisions. Susquehanna’s deep integration of trading, technology and quant research makes us experts in trading essentially all listed financial products and asset classes, with a focus on derivatives. We handle millions of trading transactions around the world every day as both a market maker and market taker. Our efforts provide liquidity and ensure competitive prices for buyers and sellers. While our presence in the market is broad, our trading desks are highly specialized to allow for a deep understanding of the unique drivers of each asset class.

Susquehanna’s annual firm-wide No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament wrapped up yesterday, with 23 competitors from our global offices competing for the $25,000 top prize. Ethan from our Chicago office took 1st place by responding to his final competitor’s “all in” with an iconic “I’m sorry, I call” on his pair of 2s. Well done to all of our players!

It’s been a big weekend for Philadelphia and Susquehanna employees. Thanks to an incredible Super Bowl win by the Philadelphia Eagles, every Susquehanna employee (including our co-ops, interns, and entire global staff) won $1,000 from Susquehanna! We’re going to be riding high this week from both big wins.

50 Susquehanna employees and their guests are going to the Super Bowl! 🏈 When the Philadelphia Eagles were on a winning streak in November, Susquehanna offered one of our employees’ favorite sweepstakes again. If the Eagles made it to the Super Bowl, 50 randomly selected US employees + their guests would win a trip to the game. The Eagles held up their end of the bargain—so did we! The lucky winners will be boarding a private plane with their Eagles gear and tailgating with NFL players and chef-curated cuisine before heading over to the game (#GoBirds). We can’t wait for wheels up! #FlyEaglesFly
