⚓️ In honor of the #CPOBday, Surface Warriors had the opportunity to highlight RC to Sea Surface Warrior CMDCM Jim Butler ⚔️ CMDCM Butler is a Reserve Component to Sea Sailor on USS Somerset (LPD 25). This is his seventh tour as a Command Master Chief! He is from Maryland but has lived in San Diego for most of the time he has been serving in the Navy. He values the opportunities afforded to him by the U.S. Navy Reserve and serves as a mentor to his fellow Sailors. The RC to Sea program fills empty billets that ships need. Sailors should reach out to PERS-46 for details on RC to Sea opportunities. For Reserve Sailors who are eager to go to sea, we are committed to finding them a ship! We will place Reservists on any surface ship that requires their support. US Navy | Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command | Commander Naval Surface Force Atlantic | U.S. Pacific Fleet
