  • At Sunshine Health, we’re proud to be a partner in Florida’s innovative Medicaid Program, and even prouder to stand alongside Hope Florida, a groundbreaking initiative led by Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis that’s changing lives across our state. Hope Florida's mission deeply aligns with our own, and we are proud to work together to improve health outcomes for Floridians. When organizations come together with a shared purpose, amazing things happen. Together, we’ve been able to: ✅ Train 1,300+ people through Sunshine Health Works ✅ Provide 47,000 meals across 10 cities through our Farm Share Food Pantries ✅ Support 89 individuals and 192 children via CarePortal, creating an economic impact of over $90,000 Hope Florida has inspired us to meet people where they are and build programs that make a real difference. When we work together, we do more than provide services. We build pathways to independence, resilience and hope. #HopeFlorida #SunshineHealth #SpreadingSunshine

  • Did you know Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services are now covered by Sunshine Health? Three key things to know: 1. Your Sunshine Health patients won't experience a break in care. There is a 120-day Continuity of Care (COC) period, meaning Sunshine Health members can continue to receive services with their provider for 120 days, regardless of that provider's network status. This helps ensure a smooth transition. 2. Our Provider Reference Guide includes all the information providers need to care for our members: www.sunshinehealth.com/BA 3. More than 2,000 providers have attended our ABA Provider Town Halls to explain the transition. We have several sessions every month, with one happening today! Thank you to our 9,000+ ABA provider partners in assisting in making this a smooth transition! Want know more? Join us for our fifth ABA Provider Town Hall at 11 a.m. today: https://lnkd.in/e28DE7aS

We're thrilled to be at Florida Association of Health Plans (FAHP) 2024 Connect Conference this week. This morning, Nathan Landsbaum, CEO Markets and Medicaid at Centene Corporation and FAHP Board Chairman presented a generous donation to Hope Florida on behalf of FAHP. We value our partnerships with FAHP and Hope Florida as we work hand-in-hand to advance health and wellbeing for Floridians. Thank you to Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis and Florida Department of Children and Families Secretary Shevaun Harris for sharing about the incredible work being done with Hope Florida. We look forward to a collaborative and fruitful conference with our colleagues. #SpreadingSunshine #FAHPCon2024 #FAHP
