    Welcome to the platform VistaShares!

AI is a massive investing opportunity, and at Stash, we believe everyone deserves access to it - not just the wealthy.  Like the internet boom, we’re living through a huge moment of growth for AI. While a lot of people will make a lot of money from the AI supercycle, too often, only wealthy people with money and connections are able to access the kinds of investments that reflect the full value of this type of technology supercycle. That’s why I’m thrilled to share that Stash is bringing the $AIS ETF from Jon McNeill and Adam Patti VistaShares to our platform as an option for Stashers. Ed Robinson and I have been excited about this ever since we first heard Jon—who’s a friend and also on our board—talk about the vision behind this ETF. This innovative, unique fund reflects exactly what we stand for: making sophisticated investment opportunities accessible to everyday Americans. The $AIS ETF goes beyond investing in NVIDIA and includes about 80 public stocks that reflect the full AI supply chain (like chip manufacturers, data centers, cooling, storage, and high-voltage electrical equipment). Now everyday Americans can own a piece of the companies leading the AI revolution. For our community of Stashers this means participating in the AI revolution the Stash way – regularly investing small amounts into a diversified portfolio for long-term growth. Unlike trading platforms that encourage speculation, we're helping people build good money habits that stick. Our Money Coach AI can even help our users understand how this ETF works within their broader investment strategy and diversification goals. Tech advances should create opportunities for all of us, not just the privileged few. The $AIS ETF is one other way we’re making that happen, letting our community build wealth by being part of the AI supercycle. Disclosure: This is not investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. All investments are subject to risk and may lose value.

Exciting momentum continues to build at Stash. Onwards and Upwards!

Celebrating 6 months back at Stash - Here's what has worked and lessons learnt And about the same time “founder mode” became a buzzword again. Brandon Krieg and I didn’t follow a trend. We were following our instincts and it's paying off -- in culture, clarity, and performance. In the past 6months due to our incredible teams hard work, tenacity and focus on the customer we have hit some incredible profitability and cash flow milestones:  ✅ Highest-ever gross margin: 84% ✅ Highest-ever EBITDA & margin: +14% ✅ Highest-ever free cash flow But more important than the metrics are the mindset shifts behind them. Here are 5 lessons we’ve learned in “founder mode”: 1. Say-do ratio is everything. Trust is built when actions consistently match words. Momentum follows. 2. Obsess over the customer. Simpler strategy, better product, faster decisions—everything improves when you start here. 3. Small, empowered teams win. Flat structure. Clear ownership. Less friction. More output. 4. Kill meetings. Focus on outcomes. Most alignment happens in doing, not talking about doing. 5. Culture compounds fast. Every behavior, good or bad, scales. Be intentional early. Going “founder mode” isn’t about heroics—it’s about clarity, urgency, and care for the customer. We have some huge releases coming soon and we’re just getting started. Huge thanks to this team pictured who is crushing it day in and day out

“The most expensive lessons in life are the ones we’re never taught.” We’re changing that with #Learn&Earn — now live on iOS at Stash. Real lessons. Real rewards. Real progress. 🔥 It's our newest way to help people build good money habits and get rewarded with stock for it. Why we built it: Starting to invest can feel overwhelming. And at Stash, our mission is to help people build long-term wealth, no matter where they start and education is a core component of building confidence. We've seen from our data that automation works: ✅ Customers who invest regularly with Auto-Stash tend to stick with it and grow their wealth over time ❌ Those who invest manually are more likley to fall off track. So we asked ourselves: 📚 What if learning about money felt like progress, not homework? 🔁 What if financial education created real momentum and habits that last? 🎁 What if you got rewarded with stock just for showing up? That's what Learn & Earn is all about: Short, actionable financial lessons paired with stock rewards and personalized next steps. We're helping customers do the work and build financial confidence, while actually earning. What we're seeing so far: ✅ Off-the-charts engagement out of the gate ✅ Strong participation within days of launch ✅ High click-throughs on next steps It's early but this has the potential to move the needle across customer education, engagement, and retention. We're just getting started -- New lesson modules drop weekly - all designed to the behavioral science of habit formation. Huge shoutout to the dream team who brought this to life: Stephanie Lo, Carissa Galloway, Joe Cronyn, Clare Ellis, Beth Young and all the engineers, marketers, designers and compliance behind the scenes. You sprinted, you iterated, and you made something that matters. What important lessons about investing did you learn the hard way? Share so we can add it to the syllabus #FinancialLiteracy #AutoStash #WealthBuilding

“We’re optimizing cross-functional synergies and leveraging scalable efficiencies to drive paradigm-shifting impact at scale.” …wait, what??  Corporate jargon is a running joke, but finance takes it to another level. After nine years running Stash and helping millions of Americans with their money, here’s something I’ve learned:  Real sophistication means clarity, not complexity. But this isn’t just about annoyance - it’s about evolution. A massive generational wealth transfer is underway, with younger generations inheriting trillions. They’re demanding clarity and transparency, not confusing sales pitches filled with buzzwords. They want intuitive, technology-driven experiences that work seamlessly on their phones, without the unnecessary complexity. If financial institutions don’t evolve, these investors will take their money elsewhere – to platforms, human advisors, or a hybrid of the two that combine both and are powered by AI. The future isn’t about choosing between humans and technology, it’s about using AI to bridge the two to deliver personalization and clear value at scale. Exclusivity disguised as expertise no longer cuts it.  In the meantime, let’s cut through the noise. Here’s your official No-BS Wealth Management Jargon Glossary: 50/30/20 budget -  Don't get me started on this one! A well-intentioned rule that assumes your rent, groceries, and life haven’t been completely wrecked by inflation. Good starting point, but not gospel. Fiduciary Duty – A fancy way of saying, “I legally have to act in your best interest.” (Why is this not the default?) Holistic Financial Planning – A detailed budget that looks really impressive. Alpha – When your financial advisor highlights the wins but conveniently forgets the losses (and fees). Beta – How much your portfolio panics when the market moves. Tax-Loss Harvesting – Losing money on purpose, so you can tell the IRS, “See? I suffered.” Decumulation Strategy – A sophisticated way of saying, “how do I spend my money without going broke?” Liquidity Event – A big sale or transaction that brings in a lot of capital (often followed by celebratory high-fives.) Horizon-Based Investing – Planning investments based on when you think you’ll need the money (spoiler: life happens). Alternative Investments – What rich people invest in when they get bored of stocks. Comprehensive Wealth Solutions – No one knows what this actually means, but it sounds expensive. Finance shouldn’t be a secret language. The future belongs to people and platforms that make investing and advice clear and actually useful. What’s the worst finance buzzword you’ve heard? Drop it in the comments. #WealthManagement #Investing #FinanceWithoutTheBS

🚀 Stash Investors Stay the Course! 📈 Over the past week, deposits (65.3%) far outpaced withdrawals (34.7%), showing a strong long-term mindset. Interesting data point, despite the market volatility, our sell volume was down 30-40% as our users continue to focus on the long term and not getting spooked by the volatility. Here’s what’s trending over the past 7 days vs 100day Average: 🔥 Top Buys: Travel is back! Airbnb (+466%) & Expedia (+254%) led the way, while investors also grabbed global stocks (VT), gold (GDX), and cannabis (MJ). 📉 Top Sells: Some took profits on Bitcoin ETFs (+20.6%) and Costco (+12.6%), while Tesla and Intel rounded out the top 5 sells. Volatility comes and goes—Stash investors keep building! 👇 #Investing #StockMarket #Stash

Back in 2015, Ed Robinson and I were sketching out Stash on a whiteboard, asking ourselves: How do we use technology to build a mass-market digital wealth platform that makes investing and advice accessible to everyone? The finance industry wasn’t built for everyday Americans, and we knew technology could change that. Nearly a decade later, Stash has helped millions take control of their financial futures. I am honored and thrilled that today, Fast Company selected Stash for their 2025 Most Innovative Companies Award. Ed and I started Stash because we believe that everyone - regardless of how much or how little money they have - deserves access to financial advice and the ability to invest and build wealth. Over the last decade, Stash has helped millions of people take control of their financial futures and make their dreams a reality. We’ve helped people buy their first house, start a college fund for their children, and build a nest egg for retirement. From day one, we’ve used technology to break down barriers, making investing, banking, and financial guidance accessible to all. Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do—from pioneering Stock-Back® rewards to building an AI-powered money coach that helps people grow their wealth with confidence. I’m proud of what we have built and so happy to be back at the helm with Ed and our incredible team as we start the next chapter for the company. Thank you to all of the employees, customers, investors, and partners who have shared this journey with us. Excited for what comes next. https://lnkd.in/edzA-VkQ #FCMostInnovative

Building a great company isn’t just about having the right strategy, it’s about fostering a culture where people feel empowered to think big, take risks, and push boundaries. Ed Robinson and I couldn’t be prouder of our team after our latest Stash Hackathon. Last week, teams across the company—engineers, product, designers, marketing, compliance, operations, trading, and more—came together to reimagine how people invest, save, and grow their money. Engineers teamed up with compliance to build AI-powered tools. Product and ops brainstormed ways to make investing easier for families. Designers and marketers reimagined how we bring financial education to life. The energy was infectious and the creativity was off the charts. I won’t pick favorites, but let’s just say when you see hacks named Sticky Children, AdvisorGPT, and Stock-Back® Against Inflation, you know people brought their A-game. AI-powered investing tools, a very unique way for friends to send stock, and plenty of other ambitious ideas got us all thinking about what’s next to help our millions of customers. Right now, Stash customers deposit an average of $45 per week – and our goal with all our offerings is to make those small, steady contributions add up to something significant over time. But here’s the best part—this wasn’t just for fun (though it was fun). Some of these ideas will actually make their way into Stash. Real innovation happens when smart, passionate people across every part of the company come together to experiment and challenge the status quo. And at the center of it all are our customers. Every idea, every hack, every brainstorming session was about making investing easier, smarter, and more rewarding for people to invest in their futures. PS. Have a hack that you would have pitched? Send it my way - brandon@stash.com.
