We had a fantastic time at the Iowa Turkey Federation's Winter Convention! Health was a major topic this year, with exciting news about the first-ever U.S. approval of a live vaccine for AMPV. This new vaccine is a huge step forward for the industry, with significant potential to address the challenges of this disease, including flock losses of up to 55%. Our team had a fantastic time at NPIC last week. This event provided an excellent opportunity to network with over 1,000 producers and industry leaders. One of the highlights was attending a panel featuring representatives from McDonald's, Nestle, the National Pork Board, Ducks Unlimited, and Hord Family Farms. We were amazed to learn that McDonald's sources a whopping 70% of their global pork from producers who attended that panel! Isn't that cool?!
